.Net Web Developer

Developer will initially spend approximately 80% of time developing with the latest Microsoft .NET technologies, and approximately 20% of time tasked with supporting legacy (classic ASP/SQL) applications.

Education and/or Experience
- Information Systems Degree or equivalent work experience in information systems required
- 3+ years experience building web based systems with the Microsoft .Net technology stack employing the best practices of SOA architecture using C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net with SQL backend databases
- The ability to support classic ASP is also required
- Experience using full lifecycle development methodologies with web based applications
- Experience integrating with back-end operational and content management systems
- Experience in Banking/Financial Services industry, preferred
- Experience in problem solving, process improvement and business re-engineering methods
- Strong organizational and analytic skills
- Demonstrable end-user interface development skills and understanding of user centric design principles
- Experience working on component based applications including web services, application integration, patterns, and data access development
- Microsoft Certification preferred
Technical Skills and Abilities
- Experience with the Microsoft Technology Stack including .Net Framework, VB.Net, ADO.Net, ASP.Net
- Experience with web development technologies XHTML, XML, XSLT, Flash, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript, SOAP/XML Web Services
- Experience with Web/Portal structure and design, development, content management, usability, and user experience interface design and navigation
- Experienced with source management control, configuration and deployment process and products
- Strong Relational Database and SQL Skills
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
